Whilst i enjoyed reading ur article it and totally agree with the magnificent satire my question is the following: whether UK or AU where i live same applies altho seems the most ridiculous law of thought police well established in UK. 1) politicians claim we are a democratic country 2) they are elected on certain policies 3) their role is described as public servants therefore when those we elected do not fulfil their promises nor do they request (as servants surely a nice gesture by the people) if they want to create a law the permission of the people. Furthermore they have no right to produce all these laws to work against the definition of democracy. Therefore either they have misled the people to the ninth and hence under the so called proposed harm law are liable for prosecution. When the chosen ones by the people decide to utilise democracy as a smoke screen and instead act under the umbrella of colonialism/imperialists then they have the absolute obligation to make every single person in the country aware of such change. Of course most of us no longer can abide by watching propaganda news so the minimum would be a written notice. Failure to do so comes under the umbrella of working against the people by non-informing (thought provoking for the thought police). Furthermore as human beings on this planet we are morally and legally obliged to make our governments aware that they are not abiding by international law and therefore putting the citizens of the country at risk which constitutes treason in my eyes. Every citizen of this world has the legal obligation and i presume therefore right to stand by the international institutions rulings and condemn their government for being complicit in genocide. This in itself is racism to the ninth which is an actual law. So again the government is guilty of such as well. One cannot on the one hand state to be a democracy and force this upon all other countries (war seems to be the favourite way) and yet not adhere to the rules of democracy which states freedom of speech and freedom to protest as a minimum. This will be my defence as i will not stand by a genocide nor a government that has its heart set to use this country to be used and destroyed by US for another of their proxy wars. Ukraine prime example. One only has to remember the words of Kissinger: to be an enemy of US is dangerous, to be a friend (ally) is fatal. This has been proven without a doubt to be the case
My father was much given to reminding me that the UK is not a democracy or republic but a kingdom - vaguely described as 'constitutional' . There is no written constitution in force . I was told (in school history lessons) that this is better than having one because it is flexible . When I asked if this means you make it up as you go - she agreed but (I think) did not like my tone ! I realised then that I will never , really be British . Also why Britain was called "perfidious Albion" !
