" Hypotheticals from Iran are much worse than actions from Israel, such as blowing up a Palestinian mother and her twins while their father was registering their birth certificates. Obviously, Iran is the regionโ€™s terrorist."

I honestly wept for that poor, poor man watching his reaction on the news today. The question everyone asks in these situations should be writ large and in neon: WHY?!

War is evil, but this war, is despicable and wrong and should be stopped. Full stop. <3

Exactly. ALL WARS ARE WRONG. Violence breeds only violence. Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity. WAKE UP WORLD

This is NOT a war! This is Einsatzgruppen operation vs. Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Russian civilians! Calling it a war is the unconscious replication of Anglo-Zionist propaganda!

You are absolutely correct. Violence is violence though and I am 100% pro-peace Without violence.

What can we all do to work together to achieve a state of peaceful harmony? Can we, who are in our right minds, work positively towards that together?

Israel has to bomb... Somebody. And it's nearly out of buildings to bomb in Gaza. What do you expect them to do, just not bomb something? After the US just sent another USD3.5 billion in bombs? That's just crazy.

"Part of the new financial aid will go to an Israeli military unit, which is accused of carrying out human rights abuses against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The State Department said it had decided against sanctioning the unit โ€“ which would have been the first-ever blocking of aid to the Israeli military โ€“ saying it was satisfied with Israeli efforts to address โ€œviolations by this unitโ€ which have been โ€œeffectively remediatedโ€... While the US has not publicly named the unit, it is believed to be Israelโ€™s Netzah Yehuda battalion, which has historically been based in the occupied West Bank.

The battalion and some of its members have been linked to the abuse of Palestinian civilians, including the death of a 78-year-old Palestinian-American man after his detention by the unit in 2022.

The greenlight given to Netzah Yehuda comes after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken determined in a finding made public in April that an Israeli army battalion committed grave human rights abuses against Palestinians, triggering an investigation under US legislation related to US military aid to foreign forces known as the Leahy Law.

In the face of protests from Republican lawmakers over the findings of abuse related to the battalion, Blinken said he would allow aid to continue to the unit in order to give Israel time to address the wrongdoing."

Sadly, one of my Substack reads (I want to say Jonathan Cook) recently predicted the US would use this exact loophole in international law to prevent independent investigations into human rights abuses by Israel. That's the depressing part about reading so many smart people: they're often right.

Israel, through AIPAC buys US politicians with bribes, these brought politicians then go on to vote money and arms to Israel so it can continue breaking every single law and convention and kill anyone it wants while the same US politicians cover its arse!

The US government does NOT work for Americans...it works for whoever bribes best...

Thanks Rebel. This story hadn't been in the UK press. I found this Counterpoint Youtube coverage of the story. The video says its not being reported in the US either (see Drop point on substack;: https://www.dropsitenews.com/p/an-american-was-just-shot-in-the) and questions why Biden said 'If any US citizen is attacked [in Israel]; we shall respond' and yet despite a number of these shootings of US citizens now, seemingly, the only response of the Biden administration is to turn a blind eye and fund yet more ammunition and weapons.

That's the bit I never understood about the Republican opposition to supplying arms to Ukraine, Rebel. The money doesn't go to Ukraine, it goes to the manufacturers all over the USA. Ukraine gets the arms they make. They're just hurting their own. But then, it's a well known fact Conservatives are less intelligent that the rest of us. That's why they are such bullies, they can't support their own arguments.

I donโ€™t know whatโ€™s going on under the surface propaganda in the GOP, but Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™re lying when they claim itโ€™s to save our tax dollars, which they just love handing to Israel. Republicans on the street are too stupid to have thought anything through - theyโ€™re just following Donaldโ€™s embrace of Putinโ€™s authoritarianism. Why Trump is doing that is mysterious and scary. Lots going on here that is very hidden. This is an interesting article, although I find it to be naively accepting of GOP explanations of its own behavior, and just plain wrong in some of its viewpoints: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/world/how-stalled-u-s-aid-for-ukraine-exemplifies-gops-softening-stance-on-russia

tRump will say anything to fool people into voting for him. His 1st term did NOTHING for the ignore-ant people that think he's a savior of some kind. Education in the US is and has been massively dumbed down over the years. This is especially true in the South and Republican states.

It's also a spectacularly bad slaveholder Constitution that disproportionately enables small states, (2 senators per state, regardless of population), to have the same representation as large cities in more educated, populous states.

The system: A huge issue as it's bi-polar to have only 2 real choices. It's massively corrupt! Maybe that's why so many have mental health issues. It's Bi-Polar!!!
