This is your masterpiece and all you've done is tell the truth ❤️

Normal Island News's avatar

I tell the truth 56% of the time. This makes me the second most reliable journalist in the UK x

Susan T's avatar

never mind. I checked out Darren Grimes. He is more reliable but only by a thread.

Ella's avatar

Can’t believe it’s second 56% sounds like the top who could be more reliable? 😅

Normal Island News's avatar

I need to introduce you to someone called Darren Grimes x

I agree! It explains why I’ve had two notifications before I saw the actual blog. Laura was still working on her masterpiece and realised, after posting that she could say a lot more 😅✊

My jaw dropped when I saw that piece in the Guardian / Observer. So blatant and cocky, told entirely from an establishment perspective Your counter narrative is masterly and will probably wind up in history books some day.

Amos's avatar

I haven’t seen it yet, because I have rigorously avoided mainstream media. Is it worth digging out for a laugh?

Mitch Ritter's avatar

errr. "....Your counter narrative is mistressly and will probably wind up in herstory books some day." What a friggin' lingo!

Aren’t you glad you’ll never have to explain to your American “establishment” colleagues ever again how “British democracy” works. Because… oxymoron!!!

Cherry on top x

The Barking Dame Margaret Hodge led the charge against Corbyn, and whined about having a packed suitcase ready should she have to flee the fascists, not of Moseley's blackshirts, but presumably those of Momentum. A fine and honourable British Jew is the Barking Dame - who as a councillor greenlit the "redevelopment" of a synagogue. It was the "antisemitic" Corbyn who stepped in and saved the synagogue from the developers. But it's good to see Sir Keir rattling his sabre - I'm sure WW3 was exactly what people were voting for. In a few weeks, when you turn the heating off or go without a meal (or both - thanks Rachel!) you can look at those photos of our PM grinning inanely at the great "Joe Biden" and warm the cockles of your heart.

Bravo, excellent work Laura K. Everything here so accurate and now irrefutable as the smearers admit their own lies.

"The establishment needed options, and when we realised we would not get away with an assassination..." *chuckle! Heehehe! I was waiting for this bit!

Brilliant. Brava!

I am waiting for you to crack the really reely walnut in this story. Your historical cut and thrust brought out the cake of duplicity, calculation, flagrant Cointreau of injected and distilled falsity, but you never got to the Great Reveal. Nobody else has mentioned it either, but the clues are, as they say, in plain sight. Starmer is a clone, an early wooden model, now better perfected in the latex U.S of A. There is a pull string in his back that anyone can access ( even Andrew Marr). Ask question, pull, and answer emerges with repeated words, tough decisions, 20 billion deficit....last administration. Why has nobody drawn attention to this? Time to cut his string?

Amos's avatar

I have a little theory, not backed by any significant evidence, that Starmer has been a blackmail puppet for most of the last two decades. I think this explains the dullness in his eyes and his inability to improvise. And his political stances and his rapid ascent in politics (given the whole thing about promoting people you have blackmail material on).

My only evidence for this comes from the time that, when it became unavoidable, he eventually mentioned partygate to Boris at PMQ. Boris stood up, basically said “Class A drugs, Jimmy Savile,” and sat down. Starmer then spent the next few weeks opposing a police investigation.

The papers all said that this was a weird response from Boris, but it makes sense as a statement of blackmail material. As to the specifics of this material, one could only speculate. And Boris is a thug.

A very plausible hypothesis. We get little real or comprehensive indications, which makes reading runes essential. I also find the curious botox, wrinkle-free, fixed smile ( open mouth now...good...another...) and the ring the changes with spectacles, all indicate similar automaton necessities. Anybody inside has shrunk, or been replaced. The creature is a construct.

Brilliant, but I'm sure that's not simple enough for the " the government wouldn't do that, brigade " to believe. The very same people who voted in klapper starmite because, once in he would turn left of left and show them tories, good n proper 👌

Drastic indeed... great sleuthing Laura K!

And on a serious note, Asa Winstanley’s “Weaponising Antisemitism - how the Israel lobby brought down Jeremy Corbyn” spells out exactly how zionists were behind all of it.

A big thank you for this book referral. Disclosure\Spoiler Alert: The summary provided in this linked book review confirms my Confirmation Bias of how the first real working bloke running an empire in my lifetime (I was born after Harry Truman's term and fateful recourse to da Nuke 'Em option) got sent out the hatch via EJECT BUTTON.

Mind my hind ass I'm off to Powell's City of Books for to search me out a copy and cup of coffee from their homey musty shelves.

You’re welcome @Mitch Ritter and if you don’t already know that Starmer has appointed an Israeli spy as a close advisor, get ready …

Have a good day!

Slow golf clap, Laura. It's good to see that your...government? Media? Billionaires-that-are-fleeing-the-UK-for-Dubai-I-assume-because-they-are-scared-of-an-indictment learned something about governance of the peasantry from your years of empire.

And you also explained what happened to Corbyn, who always struck me as a decent fellow.

When the news is almost unbearable, you come up with an interpretation that makes perfect sense. Thanks.

Being a newbie from California, it took a while, for me to “GET IT”. My only contact with the outside world was watching Benny Hill who is much easier to understand. Right now my sides are splitting, thanks.

Easy there, Gary - you don't want to say things you can't take back...

I would like to think that Laura K’s rapier-sharp musings are brought to the attention of Sir Keir Cameron-Thatcher.
