What a relief! I was thinking they were guilty, but now..

This could have gone so badly. Like, they might have found themselves guilty of murder, or extrajudicial killings, or... genocide! And that would have been 100% antisemitic. Let's all breathe a huge totally Hamas-free sigh of relief and return to the business of watching Israel emphatically NOT doing anything wrong whatsoever because Hamas.

Hamas sandwiches are not kosher! Anyone eating one is antisemitic! Or Hamas and eggs for breakfast, or Hamas studded with cloves for Easter, or a Hamas and cheese quiche! Or even vegans like myself and our antisemitic veggie Hamas slices! Targets everywhere!

I thought when you were being investigated for war crimes you had to have an outside country or international tribunal investigate war crimes? I never heard of this before, that would be like the German fascist Nazis investigating themselves. This makes absolutely no sense you don’t let a serial rapist investigate his own rape case!

Yes! You don't let a serial rapist investigate his own rape case! That would be as stupid as electing a serial rapist and best friend to a known child sex trafficker as President of your country.

So agree with you. I still believe the majority of country didn’t vote for him, but somehow he managed to manipulate the system to win.

Unlike civilized nations, it isn't one vote per person in America.

Instead of the nationwide popular vote determining the outcome of the election, the president of the USA is determined by votes cast by the 538 electors of the Electoral College.

This is how Republicans win. Democrat Al Gore won the popular vote but Bush won in 2000. Hilary won by nearly 3 million but lost in 2016.

Trump's victory in 2025 made him the first Republican candidate in two decades to win the popular vote. He also won all 7 swing states which has never been done before (Obama only won 6 states).

For that, Trump thanked Elon "Who is good with computers." So, yeah, I think the already tilted system was a swindle. But on the plus side, the oligarchy now virtually pay no taxes and they get their income from "subsidies" and an unending US federal blank check, so!

He really is a childishly vindictive asshat, isn't he? He never gives up. Never quits. He has to make people who are "against him" pay. He goes after anyone who doesn't praise him non stop.

Trump hired 40 Ex-FOX news reporters for his administration and they spend full time telling him how amazing he is. Saw some serious brown nosing today, saying he deserves to win the peace prize, etc and, "Mr. President, you are the champion of the working class." I nearly threw up.

It must be remembered that Police and the military are renowned for investigating themselves . Strangely enough they rarely find any problem , and “Complaint dismissed “.

We learned of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire in Elementary School and many wondered what it would be like to live during such times. We know now, don't we? It was kind of like wondering how we would have reacted had we come of age as a German (to name only one group) during the rise and fall of Nazism. We now know that too, don't we? What are we doing to end this genocide, exactly? If we're doing nothing, now would be a could time to begin doing something and if that means ridding ourselves of leaders who support genocide, war, depravity and so on, that's what it means.

"Many of us like to ask ourselves, “What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?

The answer is, you’re doing it. Right now."

UN need to expel them already. They had a conditional entry into the organisation in 1949 after promising to obey the UN charter in its entirety. Clearly they haven’t abided by those conditions so are not a member in good standing and should be expelled

This “inquiry result “ by the Israeli government will be heartening for the Australian government , who constantly blather on about Hamas and the horrific things they do . The only hostages they ever mention are those held by Hamas . Never a word about the Zionist torture prison camps where Palestinians ( including children ) are held .

It’s the same logic that murderers often use - my finger slipped, I didn’t know it was loaded, temporary insanity, mistaken identity, he got in the way, etc. - a bully who runs behind his mother when things turn out differently than he expected.

Following Monday’s Israeli massacre on Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex, which killed at least 20 Palestinians, including five journalists, the Israeli military spokesperson "confirmed that the Reuters and AP journalists were not a target of the strike."

Reuters reported that an initial Israeli military inquiry claimed troops struck what they thought was a camera "positioned by Hamas" observing its occupation forces, but acknowledged "several gaps", which "Israel's" Chief of the General Staff had instructed be further examined.

According to the statement, "Firstly, a further examination of the authorization process prior to the strike, including the ammunition approved for the strike and the timing of the authorization. Secondly, an examination of the decision-making process in the field."

The statement, however, raises deeper questions, suggesting that while foreign media staff were "not a target," the lives of other Palestinian journalists and civil defense crews, who were killed in the same strikes as well in others since October 7, 2023, are treated as expendable.

Since “Israel’s” war on Gaza began, more than 240 journalists have been killed by Israeli occupation forces, underscoring a pattern of systematic targeting that continues with impunity despite global condemnation.

Israel is ethically, spiritually, intellectually, factually and legally incapable of wrong. We know that. And so is President Trump. We know that. So, in truth, all really is unequivocally "right with the world". So smile, everyone, and rejoice at the wonder, the blessedness of our times.
