According to a junior commander, at a briefing on Monday, a combat unit commander told junior officers that war with Iran is part of "God's plan" and that President Donald Trump was "anointed by Jesus to light a signal fire in Iran that will bring about Armageddon and herald his return to Earth." This was reported by independent journalist Jonathan Larsen, citing data from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF).
From Saturday morning to Monday evening, MRFF recorded more than 110 similar complaints against commanders across all branches of the military.
The complaints came from more than 40 different units located on at least 30 military bases, MRFF told me Monday evening.
It is no secret that lots of evangelicals read all sort of crackpot stuff into Trump, and that the US military is chock-a-block with evangelicals.
I met one evangelical (not current military) who, on the basis of no discernable evidence, insisted that Donald Trump and Jesus Christ were in regular, direct, two-way communication and that they discuss personnel and policy.
Trump appears to be so easily turned by leaders like Putin and Netanyahu. He doesn't have any sense of direction. Well no, strike that - he simply doesn't have any sense. But I'm sure he'll make some lovely money out of the rocketing oil prices, so happy days!

If that were not comedy enough, the *really* funny and ironic part is that if the Resistance really wanted evidence that Trump is working on behalf of foreign governments, there is loads of proof out there in plain sight. Trump doesn’t even try to hide it. The cultists need look no further than Israel and Saudi Arabia. Trump openly does their bidding like he was Bibi's prison bride.
It’s as if Melania were trying to catch Donald cheating. To prove her theory, she comes up with elaborate and ridiculous plots involving multiple body doubles, fake credit card receipts issued by a non-existent bank and a supposed secret Twitter code that Donald uses to communicate with his alleged lover. Also, to make the conspiracy work, not only does everyone from Barron to JD Vance's dogs have to know about Trump's secret lover, they also have to participate in the conspiracy.
Melania works herself into a lather “connecting the dots” concocting a conspiracy theory that would put the 1961 John Birch Society to shame, and ignoring all the evidence that obliterates her theory. Meanwhile, if she wants to see Donald being unfaithful, Mistress Bibi and Mistress Salman have the chains and whips and bondage gear on full display as they make Donald perform the most obscene and humiliating sexual services, all right out there on the kitchen table in front of Melania and everyone else, and with action video footage to boot.
Of course, the rest of Team D and Team R would very much like to take Trump’s place as Mistress Salman’s slaveboi, so they pretend not to notice any of that.
