Crikey sounds like he has been visiting the SNP website and copying their policies. I bet he's going to nationalise their railways and not sell off their water, scrap peak time fares for the workers and heaven forbid make sure folks can get their medication/prescriptions without taking out a mortgage. No wonder the SNP get such a bad press, it's terrible what they are doing and now, even worse they have been elected into government again, even planning on helping young people get on the property ladder, and even more free bus travel, Jeez.

Don't look at their website, the long list of socially responsible policies is just far too scary.

Great article, as always :-)

Isn’t free bus travel against the Geneva Convention or something?

Rebel Nun's avatar

Terrorists might ride the buses! (All terrorists are poor, dontcha know. And all poor people are terrorists.). So I suppose we should close down all the free streets and highways and bridges as well. That’ll fix those New Yorkers! (If you know NYC, it makes a very graphic - and noisy - mental image!)

Baz's avatar

Yeah and while they’re at it stop the more wealthy terrorists flying around with impunity, could start with Airforce One.

This is wonderful news, seriously. Thank you, Laura! Peace and Justice seekers all over the world are joining New Yorkers in dancing in the streets, singing “If we can make it there, we’ll make it anywhere! It’s up to you, New York, New York!” 🎵

Running a major metropolis for the benefit of the ordinary people who live there?? But what if such dangerous ideas were to spread to the rest of the USA and then even to Britain?? OMG!!

Brilliant as ever Laura.

Very clever writing here. Thank you for reminding me how much I❤️NY!

The Devil IsRael. The Antichrist. So obviously, the AIPAC donors don't want to fix anything...

As a native New Yawkuh. I'm impressed with your grasp of all things Big Apple. However, I must inform you that potholes are not “traffic calming measures”, but rather auto suspension tester elements.

It's terrible when these terrorists weaponise decency and common sense….

What will they resort to next?

Integrity?

This is precisely what all the bought and paid for politicians have been fighting to hide. We literally have zero elected officials even remotely representing the good of the American people or America it's self. SHAMEFUL!

A complete house cleaning of all these self serving elected officials is crucial to the survival of the country and the American people.

Sounds like he's doing great , i'm guessing that slum landlords & sheisters won't like whats happening , but who cares if everything is begining to function as it should?

The Victorians in England realised that if the less well off are treated well they respond to it , diseases start & the bottom & move up through the classes the same as crime ,keep your people healthy a slightly more wealthy, keep the services running as they should you'll have happy citizens & less poverty crime .

It can only get better .

Good luck to him .

Could Mamdani come over here and run the UK for 100 days to sort out the mess of incompetence, lies and corruption that is dragging us all down. Please!

As if in anticipation of your campaign for impoverished American billionaires, I just sent some of my pension to Jeff Bezos.

At least there's no hope of any of that Socialist nonsense here in England.

Well you may need that little mat to kneel on soon.

Baz's avatar

World’s gone mad - politicians aren’t supposed to make things better, ought to be ashamed.

Great analysis, as always!

NY is an OASIS in the awful U.S. Maga "government".

Thats all very well and good, but what has he done for us poor miserable oi£igarKKK$?

He hasn't started one decent genocidal war to help Wa££ $tr€€t recover from its chronic and endemic destitution.

Lockheed Martin are reduced to sackcloth and ashes...

...now that I think of it...

...not unlike occupied Palestine....

...Lebanon...Syria...Libya..Iraq...Afghanistan...Yemen...

We'll just have to up our game and call in Bibi to polish the planet up to an acceptable level of martial £U$tr€.

(useless fact....Epstein put the lust in £U$tr€).

That's his first 100 days, lets see if the momentum continues. If it does then great; though I fear pushback from Federal Government using it's Playbook of Dirty Tricks.

Lenny Cavallaro's avatar

I hate to sound cynical, but the Powers-That-Be (and their financial backers) may already have put out a "hit" on Mamdani.

Martin's avatar

I hope you are wrong my friend; but “assasination” is in that very same Playbook I wrote about. Assasinations usually come in the form of a suicide and a note claiming they saw no future for their lives.

Infiltration at its best, Europe being converted especially England sanctioned by King Charles.
