"fucking over the working class": UK Mouthy Maggie and US Regressed Ronnie-the-Demented were such a good tag-team at this endeavor. Or was it Maggie and her colleague Nancy Reagan in the actual day-to-day collaboration (we'll never know). And not only did they privatize postmortem services in Hades, but every other bloody service available to anyone with limited means. Only the good die young. Only the sociopaths can afford to go on and on in a world of nonstop fees-for-service.
Could you change “have strived” to “have striven”, just for decorum’s sake?
I confess, I had thought NT long dead and already in his father’s house, cosily wrapped in flames. But one often thinks the slasher is dead at the end of the film, only to have him spring up again in the sequel. Don’t be so sure this is the last we will see of him.
My dear mother used to say, 'never wish ill on anyone', oh I don't mother, not on just anyone, but I do wish all sorts of horrible pain and suffering on those who are cruel and nasty to others, especially those in positions of power...they can all rot in hell, after suffering an agonising end.
Thanks Laura, this is a brillant analysis of the guy and all who were and are of that calibre, and yes, mostly evil people who last the longest. Nice to see the colonies of Scotland, NI and Wales get a wee mention. :-)
PS. Myself and my son reckon there are already cures for cancer and such, for the rich, to a certain extent anyway. The seem to have an elixir to longevity...whats that guy who owns the propaganda rags across the globe, he is still alive I believe. Or is he just preserved in something...
Francesca, true but thanks for teaching me what I already knew.
Phil, True also but conveniently misses the point that we all ought to be better. My gallows humour is as dark as anyone's, but we each have our limits. If you see that as poo-pooing well that's your opinion.
To both, you'll note I have not taken issue with your opinion or right to hold it.
To Natalie, who speaks like a presumptive yank who has no relevant experience or point to make on the matter.
I am in fact British, grew up in the Thatcher years with a plethora of activities and support freely available to us youths of the time. It wasn't heavenly and my parents were pretty skint for the most part but it was nowhere near the hellscape those who weren't even conceived yet would and do regularly describe it as. Becoming disabled aged 30 and having raised my child single handed (not literally) while studying law to try to open a pathway back into work, adult life hasn't been the walk in the park it might have been and I mention it only to highlight the absence of any privilege before anyone throws that card.
Now if it's all the same to the rest of you, I'm going back to my day, including reading some more of Laura's writings which like you I thoroughly enjoy. Can I do that without any more presumptuous bandwagon jumping? I'd like to think so but common sense tells me otherwise, so I'll be muting each of you, and this thread after I tap 'reply'.
So feel free if you must, but I shall not see whatever pettiness follows after.
Have a great day, whether an ignoramus or a perfectly reasonable well-evolved individual, sincerely, have a great day. The world needs you to have one.

Let’s hope the bastard has to ride a burning bike through hell, with Thatcher clinging to his spiney back, claws dug in deep!
He finally got on his bike.
"Tebbit reached the ripe old age of 94 before Satan finally claimed him because the evil ones almost always last the longest."
Thats because even poor old Nick finds their narcissistic g£uttony embarrassing.
He's down on his knees praying for them to fatten up just a little more before delivery date.
He's fond of the consequent sizzles.

thank you :)
Tebbit can tidy up a special torture chamber for ZioNazi turd Netanyahu. I'm hoping Tebbit won't be kept waiting long.
Awful, mean-spirited man. Typical Tory - loved Spitting Image's take on him!
Thank you for saying this so wittily on my behalf.
When Thatcher died I commented, ‘Now she knows what it was like living under her regime’. Same applies to him. Reunited indeed.
😂I am SO happy for him, finally fulfilling his dream (scream!), and surely his friend Mrgrth is overthrilled to see him again forever.

That guy will be followed by his elder son , who is an even bigger worry . 🙄
Montgomery Burns? 😉
Do we know what he died from? I hope it was long, drawn-out, painful and humiliating - like those years with Mrs and Mr. I'm-alright-Jack at the helm!
You made my day, thanks
Jeez, I wish I could afford to live to 94.
How disappointingly predictable.
