Amazing to read that your government is as cruel and insane as mine. The UK and the US, 2 countries that have had every opportunity to become paradises by now rather than fascist shitholes.

Jesus... we knew all along that neoliberalism was a bane on society... but not to this extent!

Can creatures with absolutely no empathy, still be labeled human?

All this while the warmongering poodle wants to increase military spending by £13 billion

In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

Little expected from a self indulgent Government which supports Genocide and militarism and possible nuclear confrontation when it comes to its own citizens and special needs and indigence is there. An AI bot would make a more rational and compassionate and ifinfinitely more cost e¹ffective job of things than any current pseudo political party.

Who will pay for the all terrain tyres on their wheelchairs when they're conscripted?

And you may not even be joking, thats what fills me with horror.

The sad thing is people voted for Labour believing 'things can only get better'....on their watch and how deadly wrong they were. Starmer did say things would get 'worse', he just didn't say how much 'worse' and who for...but we all knew!

The EngGov are already saying that young unemployed people will be forced to 'enlist in the army'.

It's all been part of LabCons' plan/agenda, hence the 'national insurance' hike resulting in many businesses going bust and many more unemployed people, how very convenient, plenty of cannon fodder. Sorry kids.

My paranets lived through WW2 as kids, in NE England, it sounded as if they really didn't have a childhood. Post WW2, there was no work so my dad enlisted in the army, he said it meant he got to travel and eat food etc, though they did have to carry guns as well and pop poor people in Malayia and such places. There was no other choice and that's what we are seeing today. Leave people with no choice, a ready army and a massive win win for the weapons companies and also those taking tons of cash form those weapons companies, hmm, I wonder which jobs they occupy.

:-(

I hope your wee one is not denied the help and support you and your family deserve. X

I've had a reply from my MP to a letter and he states that there are no plans under way for conscription and it's all going to be fine and he hopes I am reassured. And I have replied thank you for your reply but I am not reassured at all.

Politicos always use science to further their goals, not just with the disabled and the elderly. We are not at all that far away from Hitler and the NAZIS. I love the sarcasm! People need to wake up and understand that these so called leaders do not have our best interests in mind. There is no "benevolent" bureaucracy on the face of the earth.

What good does voting do when the MPs do the opposite of what you want?

So the powers that be know where the dissidents live. Data is power, and they'll use it when the barricades go up.

My mother was on the 'trial run' the Liverpool Care Pathway. It was horrific.

Pamela SNOWDON's avatar

MY Dad was also on the Liverpool Care Plan, it was incredibly cruel, the morphine was on battery operated machine which often ran out, no batteries kept where he was, a doctor had to come and write a prescription for a bloody battery which was delivered hours later, your right horrific is the word.

I am so sorry that happened to your Dad. They seem to take the position that on average some pain control is delivered so what's the problem. Of course that fails to understand the nature of suffering.

Thank you for your post. I looked up the LCP and there are similarities with the hospice programs in the US, which I have seen similarly abused and would like to see changed. Good info. Here’s a story:

Witty and scathing as always, @Laura! I suppose the only other thing the UK can do now is follow the Trump model. Since you'll be saving so much on those 66,000 people, surely you can now give more tax breaks to the wealthy.

As the government is closing down the Job Centres, perhaps it should convert them into Workhouses?

Jane Baker's avatar

Hi William, seriously,a couple of years ago I heard an MP can't remember who or which party and he was advocating building big specialized complexes to house single people where all their needs would be met like food etc and when the radio host said it sounded like a Victorian Workhouse the speaker did not deny it. He just said it would be an improved 21st century version . It would allow for economies of scale and free up housing for families.

William Bowles's avatar

So we’ve come full circle then, it was just a question of time.

Is Britain going to be GREAT again when they have shown all the world how wonderfully they treat their people?

Sol Sön's avatar

Wow, I guess now military conscription is assured.

Uk needs to kill lots of youngsters in order to please its eugenist overlords, what better way to achieve great results than by declaring them fit to serve for suicide mission.

You must all love your pedo government. Or not.

Jane Baker's avatar

And I'm wondering if us Oldies are going to be that exempt. Don't be too confident. Even if you're not so fit youre front line material -and lots of 60+ men have been pressganged into the ukraine army, they have homes + families so can't just run away and Zelensky knows where they live. - they intend to "mobilize" the non battle population. That's a weasel word. Maybe we'll have to work in munitions factories like in WW1+2. We get told THEY LOVED IT. Lawks a mussy,we ad such fun, knees up Muvver Brown. I wonder if that's SO TRUE.

Sol Sön's avatar

I am afraid it may very well be.

The supposed war between Russia and Ukraine is a UK US RU operation to depopulate resources rich Ukraine, steal its land and resources, and to justify fear mongering made to make people look away from the worst Genocide in human history, the scamdemic with its toxic and lethal protocols and jabs, “number of the VARS report of the declared dead as a result of the jab 17 millions, and this is the number estimated to be between 3 and 10% of the total number of cases “till2023”.

No new statistic have been released since.

So yes the war in Ukraine and in the Middle East are a decoy to supposedly save the conspirators bottom.

Anyhow the fact remains the same, only the hypnotised and stupefied people will ever sign up or participate in a war.

So please don’t make bombs for people which wats to kill your family and neighbours

The world wants freedom and peace and comfort, and soon it will have to face the fact that the only way to achieved, is by removing from power warmongers and eugenists, and to make sure that they never comeback to hunt our lives and threaten our children

By the way, I very fit, not 60 yet and with a perfect six pack. “Or close to it :)”
