I have lived for years across the road from a stately home - the grounds of which were 'acquired' from the locals by invading Normans. I have decided that i shall now 'liberate' the estate back into indigenous ownership. The lord is elderly so can be easily disposed of. I think it's only right we revert to the previous order.

I believe the word for that kind of thing in the 'Rules-based international order' is now 'eviction'.

“The US has committed or attempted regime change around the world, but never more frequently than in Latin America. Almost every country in Central and South America has suffered via US regime change. Even recently the CIA has been extra busy attempting to turn over Venezuela into US hands. Cuba has endured imperialism over the years, only finally to end up staying socialist via revolution against corruption from US corporate interests. The US assassinates, or attempts to assassinate, leaders that don’t kiss US corporate ass. It has nothing to do with socialism, per se, but everything to do with US corporate money interests… but you can never tell a colonial power that they don’t own what they’ve stolen.”

Mossad has been as busy as the CIA in all those regime changes in the Americas , hand in glove. And they are much more experienced and proficient in the art of assassination because of their advanced, live tested surveillance technology. Admired for their ruthlessness and hired all around the world by the multinational imperial Powers That Be.

I'm wonder who's next? Cuba, Colombia, Greenland?

I suppose I should check in with the betting agents to get the best info.

I think Columbia or Mexico because it will be the easiest as world politics go. Now Cuba will be interesting and I am sure it is on the agenda but its historic ties to Russia may get messy. Greenland will be interesting. My guess there will be a fuss raised by our allies but I think they will cave like they do on everything else. Notice how he is only picking on the ones will small militaries. Canada will be the real tell, we love our Canadian neighbor and they do have a military. And you notice, no one is talking about the Epstein Files or Palestine.

Russia (as the USSR) years ago abandoned Cuba to the machinations of the US, to their eternal shame. I worry about Cuba, as I have my whole life.

"Russia (as the USSR) years ago abandoned Cuba" - because it was trying to survive as is.

True. The Cuban economy, and people, were devastated for years when Russia stopped buying their sugar, but Russia would have been hit badly by the US if they hadn’t. I understand, but no one standing up to the US out of fear for themselves is how we got to this brink of world fascism. All together, we have to.

Given that right before Maduro was captured, there were negotiations between the US and Russia. I won't be surprised if it was Ukraine for Venezuela exchange.

"ready to go along with whatever excuse Trump comes up with to annex Greenland. I hear Hezbollah is running a narco-trafficking ring there. Just remember, you heard it here first."

I suppose we've all seen the tweet by National Security Advisor Stephen Miller's wife Katie which shared a map of Greenland covered with the U.S. flag and one word: SOON. https://x.com/KatieMiller/status/2007541679293944266

One of the advantages of the “First past the post “ system of voting . It was the first question asked by our Government lecturer at the Sydney Teachers College course I attended . Is the “First Past the Post “ system a fair way of achieving a fair result ? Why , or why not ? He brilliantly explained the difference in potential outcomes between that system and preferential voting .
