Absolutely shocking turn of events. A Muslim is a terrorist! Now he’s terrorising New Yorkers into believing the world can be a nicer place? He must be related to Sadiq Khan who holds similar beliefs. The 🍊 will be furious.

God, I hope this man wins the mayoral race 🙏🙏🙏

I met Mr Sadiq Khan, recently...few weeks ago, at a presentation about homelessness. He is a thoroughly DowntoEarth chap and awfully approachable, no airs about him ~ just a good Earthling. Lucky for London. And yes, I did vote for him. 🌌🌝🙏🧘🌌

I hope so too you libs deserve what’s coming. PolPot wanted to help the poor too.

How braindead do you have to be to see what works and what doesn’t.

You made your sanctuary bed now lie in it. You deserve it all.

You’re comparing someone to Pol Pot because they want to help the poor?! You mean like Jesus? And like (your namesake?) Tom Paine?

I am genuinely interested in your opinion and how you came to hold it. I can explain my thoughts. I grew up in 70s and 80s Britain. My state education was outstanding, I went to university on a full grant and the tuition fees were paid by the local education authority. I then trained to be a nurse and worked for the NHS for 20 years. We had a certain amount of stability, even with a Conservative government. People could get a GP appointment, the waiting lists for healthcare were much lower and people were thriving, not merely existing. Up until 2010, when the Conservatives got into power again. Now, after 14 years of austerity, and the transfer of wealth from the poorest to the richest, people are miserable. The cost of living has skyrocketed and people live in poverty and in expensive rented homes which are unfit for human habitation. That’s the world I’d like to see. Not the one we have now, where leaders care more about money and power than their citizens.

Yes, my politics lean to the left and I am not ashamed of that. You can call me a “libtard” or a “snowflake” and it will be like water off a duck’s back. What is so wrong with wanting every person to feel secure and be able to afford the necessities in life?

I wouldn't rely on state education now. Frankly I wouldn't rely on anything state run. NYC has gone downhill in recent years 😬

To be fair, the UK is not much better either. But it can be better. It was better. Sadly, politicians of all stripes seem to be more concerned about not upsetting the billionaires and corporations than about their own citizens. I appreciate your comment but we must not give up on creating a better future.

I agree but extreme far left progressive socialism is not something I would support. A new political and financial system based on the gold standard would be a solid start

Outrageous, he's part of this disturbing global trend to democratise cities, making them kinder and more 'human', I mean where will this end? - caring for the vulnerable, demilitarising the police, re-wilding Wall St?

Brilliant article Laura - as always. Made me laugh this morning. I really, really hope that Zohran wins the Mayoral race. Hopefully it will be a turning point in politics in the US and the UK.

In many ways, this is a victory for the “unheard” right around the USA and the world.

I have complete respect and confidence in Zohran!!

He means what he says and will forgo personal comfort & gain for his Principles and the people.

His strong positive character which is not-up-for-sale is more likely because of his Indian-African (un American?) upbringing.

As his mother once said “I made a suitable boy”. Referring to both the TV series she directed and her son Zohran. Shabash!!!

Zohran’s background and upbringing are exactly what “American” is supposed to be. 🌟

The key word in that sentence is "supposed".

Money has crept into USA politics and does all the talking. The Zionist Lobby spent millions backing Andrew Cuomo..... but this time New Yorkers were not fooled.

I am frankly against the Brown invasion and our replacement, I also think it’s pathetic that we don’t have any white people who would do the same as this fellow. But then again, the United States is owned and controlled by the Jews. Even what appears to be opposition isn’t really opposition to them so much as it’s designed to work against the host population, in this case meaning white people.

David, I recently discovered the wonderful work of Nicole Jenes.

Laura and Nicole are both amazing medicine that helps cure what ails us.

Leave it to the ladies to have their “fingers on the pulse”.

Not to quibble or nuthin, but here in the grate satan, infants pull themselves up by their baby bootie straps.

They don’t get their first pair of steel toed work boots until they’re able to walk.

Highly recommend!
