I was reading this week that Starmerand his cabinet was riled up by a Telegraph story that ran saying an asylum seeker had been allowed to stay avoiding deportation because 'his kid didn't like foreign chicken nuggets'. Now the Torygraph was being 'selective' here - the child in question is autistic and in the process of assessments. His selective diet is just a minor aspect of the reason he should be spared the trauma of being sent to a country he doesn't know, as he was born here. The man himself, came here as an unaccompanied minor at age 15 and you can pretty well imagine the horrors he endured. Yeah, he is now a criminal, but I think we should ask ourselves, what did this country do to ensure that he did not follow a criminal path? Knee jerk politicking like this serves noone any good. Sort yourself out Mr Starmer, you can't out Farage Farage, and you definitely won't win support trying (and failing) to be Trump-lite.
The political maneuvering in the 21st century needs a whole lot more finesse to outwit the internet and the abundance of videos and pictures that are recorded with smartphones.
They know we know that they are lying, it seems to make the politicians more determined to plough forth, regardless.

Now we are clear the only criterion for accepting refugees is whiteness, it should make administration much simpler. Starmer could reduce the civil service by 75% - Elon can give him tips - and send the money saved to Israel. It won’t be needed for social benefits in the UK because no one will be eligible much longer.
I thought I had almost radicalized a Trump supporter, but then I made the mistake of talking crap about Elon Musk. Any progress I made is gone and I’m giving up on this one. He was the last one that I allowed anywhere near me and it was really only because his sister is one of my best friends and I have to run into him in public sometimes.
I might block him today the last message I sent him I asked him why right wingers were OK with immigrants purchasing the presidency. I asked if it was really is because this African is white, since I remember them freaking out pretending Obama wasn’t born here. They know musk wasn’t born here but it’s fine he bought the presidency?
He didn’t reply, he might’ve passed out drunk. If he comes back with a reasonable answer I might keep working on this project. But I suspect I will have to block and delete this one, and it’s fine he was the last Trump supporter I entertained at all. And I really felt hypocritical even doing that after shunning the rest
Starmer is merely honoring a grand Anglo-American tradition. In 1938, for example, FDR decided against letting a ship full of Jewish refugees from Germany enter the US. He sensibly ignored the fact that people like Henry Ford had financed Hitler and caused the refugee problem in the first place.
What's important is never admitting that your own policies cause refugees, and Starmer is accomplishing that goal in truly magnificent and time-honored Anglo-American imperial fashion. You must be SO proud of him!

It’s so creepy that I wouldn’t be able to distinguish if you were writing about the US or the UK without specific geographical references. I’m almost certain that when I signed up for this newsletter it took me a while to even realize that you were in the UK (maybe due to my brain fog) because we really do seem to have the same exact problems with the fascists.
But reading this this morning really hurts. They all really want to just genocide all those people don’t they? Everyone who told us genocide Joe wasn’t really doing a genocide, it really looks like he was trying to help out with that.
Starmer you dim witted twit, you reap what you sow. Hopefully there is poetic justice and you feel some of the pain on behalf of the people you represent, when the wrath of the dispossessed, persecuted and abused comes home to old blighty.

My God, if the UK or US starts treating all refugees with equal kindness, some radical is going to suggest that they should treat all their own citizens with equal kindness! It’s a slippery slope!
need to see some Palestine supporters demand of random arseholes if they condemn the Azov Battalion the way they demand to know if Palestinians condemn Hamas. it's equally as offensive, bizarre and absurd. would be interesting to see if any of the politicians who say Hamas are literally Hitler and Palestinians make Jews unsafe will be consistent with their BS
