"Widespread protests in Iran prove it is a dictatorship whereas widespread protests in the US prove it is a democracy. The protests in the US are illegitimate because they were orchestrated by Iran whereas the protests in Iran show the will of the Iranian people... because they were orchestrated by Mossad."
Having left Twitter because it was going downhill rapidly and as they're imminently implementing policy to abuse data rights, I'm relying on you for the news and you don't disappoint!
I remember reading an article -- perhaps from Amnesty International, although it might have been some similar organization -- asserting that the Shah's police tortured physically and psychologically, often raping wives and daughters of political prisoners in front of the jail cells, and on some occasions inserting poisonous snakes into the vaginas of the female victims. What a great champion of "democracy" and "human rights" the Shah was. I suspect his son is cut from the same cloth...
The only thing Iran and Venezuela have in common is their un-democratic human rights abuses that we must correct for them. It's only a bizarre coincidence that both Iran and Venezuela have huge oil reserves.
Laura you've outdone yourself this year 👏. The way you Parellel the absolute absurdity of our times, the contradictions is class. To think some out there just don't get the absolute obvious

House of mirrors!
Operation Gladio. Just like last time with the father
The only truth and exposès comes from satirists.
And its getting harder by the day to satirise the KKK£own $how.

Brilliant💫 as usual❣️
Are you ever going to go back to doing satire, Laura?
Honestly this is exactly what I was thinking. This reads like mainstream U.S. media to me.
Reality has overtaken satire. "1984" has become an instruction manual not a novel.
very good.
👍🏻💥
Brilliant, as always!
This is awesome!! I love your sense of humor in these scary times. Viva la Palestine, Venezuela and Iran!!

It's all-American!
About time for a spot of regime change in the US too
The shah will turn Iran into a charnel house.
It must be terribly difficult for satirists these days, when writing like this article almost reads like a Washington Post editorial. 😟
One of your best Laura!
Now THIS epistle of yours is absolutely terrific!!!
Nothing better illustrates, "Free-dom" than the snide remark!
"Just know we’re doing all of this out of love."
I do hope that is love of Moo£ah A£mighty uber a££€$.
We want no heretics around the house of bU$in€ss cards.

Laura rules. Or should.
