Thanks for some morning hilarity about a travesty that was already in bad taste and hypocrisy . Hurrah for the protesters, the paint and the winner .

This is of course a national and cataclysmic disaster for the UK. Did they vote for Israhell? did anyone vote for the UK? If Israeli`s got a vote why didn't Palestinians?

Israel gets a vote because it's full of Europeans. Palestine doesn't because it isn't.

Though if 'Israel' got its way, Palestine would be full of Europeans too 🤮

Surely you mean Americans. If 'Israel' got its way, Palestine would be full of American real estate developers and the Trump family.

Because Palestinians write better songs and sing better than any Europeans so they would always win.

Letting Israel participate helps to cement a European colonial project that should really come to an end.

If all sentient beings - other than pro-Israelis, of course - were not merely rabid antisemites, we would have demanded the other participants withdraw from the final so Israel’s entry could win uncontested.

Yuval Raphael could then have performed her act 28 times, coz nothing shrieks “music is a unifying medium for peace” quite like glorifying a civilian population’s annihilation through overwhelming military force.

But, we’re all antisemites, so Israel had to put up with not winning Eurovision.

True. And they’re enjoying it - they can be victims once again.

Now we know: The ESC is clearly antisemitic, just like the UN and everybody else!

Yep Israel can do whatever the fuck it wants, because the bible etc. But anyway, if they get to be in Eurovision, as a definitely (not) European country, how comes Syria isn't? Or Lebanon? Oh yeah, wait. The bible.

It’s not that Israel is in Europe, it’s that Israel is the BOSS of Europe (and…).

One should wonder, what inspired the israeli singer’s dress?

Couldn’t be rape ? Or could it be so?

Please don’t answer, I am already confused enough as it is.

Israel managed to make a moronic TV ‘event’ even worse. Now that takes some doing.

The whole thing is a joke. Israel is NOT Eurupe so why are they invited to take part when Russia (a great part of which is in Europe) is not. It was always about politics instead of talent.

These scumbags need a court order to have a DNA test to prove they’re not Semitic, yet are eligible to participate in Eurovision????wait a minute.

Frankly, since the mid-1970s I've wondered why Israel was even IN Eurovision, what with Israel not even remotely being a European country.

Then again, at about the same time and having heroically endured said 'song contest' for the first, last, and only time, I was also perplexed as to why Eurovision existed at all.

...I mean, apart from giving Terry Wogan a little extra in his pay packet.
